My Brother, My Best Friend,Why Lord??

Aye yo, I know I been writing about a lot of random things lately, but I think its about time I wrote some real stuff. When I was like 15 years old I lost someone that was very close to me. It was my brother Chris Elliott. He was the best friend any kid could ask for but something happened that would change my life forever. While participating in a Basketball Tournament in Jackson, he drowned in the pool at the hotel that we were staying the night in. A couple of my friends and I were suppose to go swimming with him but he told all of us to stay in our room and rest for our game tomorrow. Being obedient we listened, but to this very day we wish we hadn't. Chris was in the pool by himself and caught a cramp in the middle of the pool and drowned. They tried to revive him but he wouldn't come back. He was already experiencing trouble with his lungs so that matter made things worse. Our coaches told us what they said at the hospital and all we could do was cry. It really hurt my heart because he was so close to me. We didn't finish the tournament because they said we weren't in any condition to play basketball. We headed home and was greeted at school by our family and friends and our high school basketball coach talked to us about how he lost his cousin. So he knew how we were feeling. From that point on I knew my life would never be the same. I've changed since that day and people have told me that I've gotten meaner, but how could you blame me. I lost the only person in the world that understood me. What's the point. R.I.P Christopher Lamar Jo Jo Elliott. I miss you bro. We all do.

The Best Rapper Alive

Professor D, I know this is late but I had a couple of problems that prevented me from doing my work. But here it goes. The best rapper alive to me is none other than Lil Wayne, also known as Weezy Baby. The guy has a lot of names but those are the main two. Wayne is the best to me because I like his style of rap and R&B. People say that they can't understand what he says half of the time but you really have to listen to understand what he is trying to say. The only way to really understand where Lil Wayne is coming from you have to try and relate to the things that he talks about in his raps. Sure some things that he says doesn't make a whole lot of sense but that's how rap goes. It's really just his way of expressing his feelings. If people would pay attention, lately all he talks about is Hurricane Katrina and he she demolished his home. The guy doesn't even write his raps. He freestyles them off the top of his head. No matter what anyone says I still respect his lyrics. Lil Wayne is the best rapper alive to me.

When I grow up

When I grow up, I wanna be exactly like none other than The Black Mamba, also known as Kobe Bryant. I don't care what anyone says about this guy, he's the best player in the NBA to me. Who else has accomplished the things that he has. He's the only other person to be 19 points shy of the NBA record for the most points scored in one game. Sure he had a couple of ups and downs in his career but who doesn't? Even the Colorado incident didn't stop him. Kobe kept his cool even in the face of adversity, he still played his game. This past NBA season, he ook his team all the way to the finals. They didn't win though but the effort was still worth it. This summer he joined the Olympic team which went undefeated(8-0). They went on to win in their pool and they even brought the gold medal back to the U.S. Kobe played a big part in this just as well as any other player. So to sum this whole thing up, I want to be the type of basketball player that he is. When I grow up I wanna be exactly like The Black Mamba.

Hurricane

Jig and check my swager out. I'm out my mind, I went to church and cursed my pastor out. Now ain't that child Hurricane let me crank it up. Na, I was just playing. I actually meant Hurricane Gustov. I think that's how you spell it. But I think they gave that hurricane more hype than it was actually worth. Word was that it was suppose to have been the next Katrina. But iti looks like they were proven wrong. If it was as really bad as they say then it would've really did some damage. To me it was a bunch of nothing. Just people blowing hot air. We were only out of school one day for the next supposly Katrina. To tell the truth I'm really upset about that. I was expecting to be out of school for at least a whole week. But a measely one day. You gotta be kidding me. Basically all I hav to say is that Gustov just brought a Bunch of rain with him. I'm not saying that this was a bad thing but more of just disappointment. So Hasta La Vista Gustov. I'm out!!!!
